Vision ... To be the Leader in our Heavy Engineering Markets.
Our staff, who have considerable industry knowledge, enable us to constantly improve our work processes through engineering changes and process improvement initiatives.
Where possible, training is aligned to industry unit standards to ensure consistency of the level of training.
In addition, further training may be negotiated during the Annual Review and Development process for all staff.
Our health and safety objective is to maintain the wellbeing of our staff and attain zero accidents site wide. Using education in workplace culture, adoption of best practices and employee participation we remain constantly focused on this goal.
Hillside Engineering utilises the SAP system for production, purchasing and sales, financial reporting, document control, maintenance planning and rework analysis.
Hillside Engineering achieved ISO 9002 in March 1992 and is now currently assessed to ISO 9000:2004 and registered with Telarc.
The foundry is registered with Lloyds.
Annual audits are carried out on key areas of the operation to ensure we remain compliant to the standards.
The site operates with its Resource Consent where the current air discharge permit is valid until 1st December 2014.
